Shane Emory Christian, II, 15, of Silver Springs, passed away on March 17, 2011. He was born October 11, 1995, in Ocala.
Shane was an avid sports player having played with the East Marion Little League, participated in MCYFL prior to attending Lake Weir High School where he played on the Freshman Football team.
He is survived by his parents Shane and Kimberly Christian; brother, Cody Christian; Great Great Grandmother, Helen White, Ocala; Great Grandmother Martha Jane Zackery, Silver Springs; Grandparents Tim & Aggie Zackery, Ft. McCoy; Kathy Zackery and Pat Terrell, Ft. McCoy; Denise Christian, Keystone Heights; Donna Powell, Ft. McCoy; Great Grandfather, Charles Powell, Ft. McCoy; and God Parents, Ronnie & Lisa Soltis, Silver Springs. He is preceded in death by Grandpoppy Rodney Christian.
Visitation will be 5:00-6:00PM, Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at New Harvest Church of God in Silver Springs with Funeral Services at 6:00 PM, Pastor Jim Miller officiating. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home.
