JEAN HENNINGSEN, 78
Jean Henningsen, 78, of Greensburg died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, at St Francis Hospital of Beech Grove.
Born Aug 19, 1924, in Rush County, she was the daughter of Frank and Gertie J (Lee) Morgan Sr., both deceased. On July 6, 1952, she married Al Henningsen; he survives.
Mrs. Henningsen was a 1942 graduate of St. Paul High School and a 1944 graduate of Indiana Business College. She and her husband owned and operated Henningsen's Flowers in Greensburg for 40 years. She was a member of Greensburg United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star and had served as a Worthy Matron within that organization.
Survivors in addition to her husband include two sons, Tracy H Henningsen of Greensburg and Alan D Henningsen of Baltimore, MD; one sister, Lois (Mrs. Ray) Hadler of Greensburg; and four grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was precede in death by two sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home in Greensburg, with the Rev. Charles Wilfong and the Rev. Tim Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in South Park Cemetery in Greensburg. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
