Catherine Chapman, 50, of Muldrow, Okla., formerly of Columbia, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2002 in Fort Smith, Ark.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 W. Business Loop 70, with the Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Columbia Cemetery.
Ms. Chapman was born Dec. 23, 1952, in Wickford, R.I., to Robert William and Marion Shea Chapman.
She had worked as the director of medical records at Sequoyah Memorial Hospital in Sallisaw, Okla.
Survivors include a son, John Scott Long of Ft Smith, Ark.; three brothers, Dennis Chapman of Falls Church, Va., John Chapman of Gurneyville, Calif., and Jim Chapman of Hermitage, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bobby William Chapman....
Cathy was married to Donald Ray Long June 22, 1974.
Although they were divorced, they remained the best of friends until her passing day.
They had one son: John Scott Long
