Joyce Acevedo Albright went home to be with her Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of July 27, 2011.

Born October 13, 1933, in Maui, Hawaii, she attended the Academy of Sacred Hearts in Honolulu before moving to the mainland in 1948. On August 4, 1956, she married the love of her life, Jack.

Joyce was a long-time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Red Hat Society.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Ramone and Cora Acevedo and a sister Lorraine.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 55 years, Jack, sons Michael, Paul, and Kenny (Cay); brother Karl (Kelly), and grandsons Steven and Adam as well as a host of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Altar Society at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Killeen.Funeral services will be held at 10am Monday, August 1, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Killeen. Burial will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 6-8pm on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen with a Rosary at 7pm.
