HANNIBAL - Wilfred Dale Baldwin, 77, of Hannibal, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2005, at Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal.
Mr. Baldwin was born Oct. 24, 1928, in Jamesport to Joseph and Zona Farrell Baldwin.
He was married to Thelma Stark. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include one brother, Mike Baldwin of Olathe, Kan.; one sister, Fay Hickman of St. Charles; five sons, Joe Baldwin of Memphis, Mo., Dennis Baldwin of Killeen, Texas, David Baldwin of Shelbina, Lloyd Shobe of Mesa, Ariz., and Henry Shobe of Keller, Texas; four daughters, Karen Marks of Kansas City, Mo., Alberta Hayes of San Diego, Calif., and Bonnie Sutton and Linda Hickman, both of Hannibal; 26 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Phillip Baldwin.
Mr. Baldwin served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked as a welder for the CBQ Railroad. He was also a member of the Masons and Emmette J. Shields American Legion Post No. 55.
Memorials may be made to the Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico.
