I want that Landon West pay to Lorenzo West one hundred dollars.

I leave to him my horse "Frank", my cow, and also twenty five sheep and lambs;

That Eva West have my new quilt of pink blue and white;

To my daughter Rebecca E Dellinger I give two blankets if she wishes to take them.

I will also that Landon and Lorenzo pay to my sons Marion and John West of Missouri, the some of one hundred dollars or fifty dollars each.

NOTE: Edmund L. West, Tacoma, Wa., found (June, 1978) the above copy of Margaret West's 1881 will among his mother's papers. Since the paper and ink were not suitable for photocopying, he typed the will exactly as in the handwritten copy. This is a valuable West family document that substantiates several facts that previously were only logical guesses.
