Ashland, Ill., Sept. 19.-On Wednesday morning at about 7 o'clock occurred the death of one of Ashland's most esteemed and respected citizens, George Crum. Mr. Crum was one of the many unfortunates that the dread malady, typhoid fever, has claimed for its victims. He had been in poor health for several weeks previous to the violent illness which proved fatal so soon. He leaves to mourn him a wife, father and mother and several sisters and brothers and a host of friends.
