Mrs. Ida Clifton, age 79 of Riverside, Calif., died Tuesday in Oklahoma City.
She came to McAlester 75 years ago, later moving to Oklahoma City. She moved to California four years ago to be near a daughter.
She is survived by a son, Seth, of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Mrs. J. H. Conrey of Riverside, Calif., and Mrs. E. L. Muse of Tucson, Ariz.

She was the 3rd child of Winfield Scott and Frances Ann Todd Nelson. She married Seth Clifton 15 Mar 1906 in McAlester, Pittsburg, Oklahoma. To this union were born 4 children: Madge Rufina 1906-1952, Mabel Virginia 1912-1983, Seth Nelson 1914-1968, and Jessie M. 1917-2000.
