Mary Louisa was one of 7 children born to John Duce & Florence Hammons Walker. She was born in Missouri and moved with her family to Texas in the early 1900s. She had three brothers and three sisters:
George Thomas Walker (1893-1979)
Ernest W.(Pete) Walker (1897-1978)
Annie Mae Walker Vaughn (1901-1963)
Clarence Odell Walker (1903-1957)
Liller Estelle Walker Conner (1905-1988)
Florence ellen Walker (1914-1972).
On December 24, 1916, at age 21, she married John C. Bell. They had three children: Mildred Bell, born about 1918, Reba Irene Bell born November 10, 1919, and Mary Louise Bell born November 2, 1921. Mary Louisa died on January 30, 1922 at the age of 27.
