Age 92 of Howell, Michigan, formerly of East Aurora, NY.
Born in Buffalo, New York to the late Eldon Davidson Miller and Gladys Dolphin Miller. Beloved wife of the late Maxwell O. Nusbaum and the late Frederick Swan, Jr. She is survived by, her nieces and nephews; Alan (Nancy) Robertson, Susan (the late William) Robbins, Scott (Gloria) Robertson, Jane (Charles) Frost, Joyce (Timothy) Davies, and Bethany (David) Bullard and step-children; Patricia (the late William) Ehlers and Frederick Swan III. She was preceded in death by her sister Margaret Robertson and brother Eldon Miller.
An accomplished business woman, after graduation from Lafayette High School she attended the Katherine Gibbs Business School and worked as an Executive Secretary for General Mills and the Moog Corp. She also owned The Aurora Yarn Shop in East Aurora, NY.
Carolyn was a member of The Children of the American Revolution, Altrusa International and First Presbyterian Church of East Aurora , NY. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needlework, traveling and community service. She was an active volunteer for Meals on Wheels and the Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Service (reading to the blind).
The family of Carolyn have arranged for her ashes will be laid to rest in Elmlawn Cemetery in Kenmore, New York.
