Noyes, Roger Bernard 80 Feb. 26, 1932 April 12, 2012 Roger Bernard Noyes passed peacefully on April 12, 2012 at his SW Portland home. Born on Feb. 26, 1932 in Bradshaw, Neb., Roger was raised in Newberg. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict, and was later employed by Tektronix for 27 years, retiring in 1983. Roger was a beekeeper, gardener, camper, engineer, mechanic and was happiest when he could be outside enjoying Oregon's beauty. He had a giving heart and would lend a helping hand wherever it was needed. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marvel; and four children, Roger A. Noyes, Linda M. Harris, Lori J. Buffington (Bruce) and David W. Noyes (Cheryl); eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
