Our wonderful husband, son, brother and friend, Ted Cannon Hansen, age 46, passed away on October 31, 2011 due to complications of Myotonic Dystrophy. He was born on December 21, 1964 in Ogden, Utah to Gary Read Hansen and DeEtta Brown.

He married Lynnette Dalton on January 14, 1997, in Ogden Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple on January 17, 1998.

Ted received a Bachelors of Science from BYU. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints he served a mission in the San Diego, California area. He also held various callings in the primary and as a Sunday school teacher. Ted enjoyed animals, loved to fish, played football, garden, play games and card games. But most of all he enjoyed visiting with his family.

He is survived by his wife Lynnette Hansen and son David Lewis Hansen both of Enoch, UT. His parents; DeEtta (Ben) Brown of Clinton, UT., Gary (Beverly) Hansen on Aurora, UT., and mother-in-law Rowena Dalton of Enoch, UT. His brothers and brother-in-laws; Craig (Christine) Hansen, Garrett (Tina) Hansen, Michael (Kathyrine) Hansen, Kamik Brown, Ronald (Jennifer) Dalton, Michael Lee Dalton & Jake Huntsman. Sisters and sister-in-law; Kristi Hansen, Katie (Korry) Jourdain, Kaprece Brown & Kathleen Miller.

He is preceded in death by his sister Pamela Reno, father-in-law Harold Max Dalton, and nephews Robert Huntsman and Joseph Jourdain.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Homestead LDS Ward Chapel located at 1390 East Midvalley Road, in Enoch, Utah. A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Southern Utah Mortuary located at 190 North 300 West, in Cedar City, Utah. On Friday, November 4, 2011 the viewing will be at the Church from 9:30-10:30 am. Interment will be in the Enoch Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
