Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather and friend Robert William Brown Jr., passed away on December 13, 2010. He was born on January 13, 1921 in Durango, Colorado to Robert William Brown Sr. and Amy Comfort Slade. He was so proud to serve his country that he signed up the 1st day of the war, serving in the US Navy during WWII. He earned his bachelors degree as a Electronic Engineer, and was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He married Marilyn Grohe on December 19, 1969
Robert was a loving giving husband, father and individual. He gave unconditional love to his family, church and country. He was a highly respected individual and respectful to all, and carried himself with dignity where ever he went.
Robert is survived by his wife Marilyn of Enoch, UT. His children; Bob (Karen) Martin of Provo, UT., Linda (Bob) Arms of Norman, OK., James (Meridee) Brown of Gilbert, AZ., Mike (Roylee) of Mesa, CA., Roy (Kathy) Brown of Tempe, AZ., Margaret (Paul) Weddle of Saratoga Springs, UT., Debbie Reynolds of Phoenix, AZ., David (Cissy) Hewitt of Peoria, AZ., Dale Hewitt of Enoch, UT., Duane Brown of Salt Lake City, UT., and Douglas J. Brown of San Diego, CA. Along with 65 grandchildren, too many great grandchildren to count, and more than 10 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Enoch Stake Center located at 3600 North Minersville Hwy in Enoch, UT. A viewing will take place from 12:00 - 1:00 pm also on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Enoch City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary
