MARTIN AJEMIAN May 18, 1924 - March 27, 2007 --- Funeral Services were held, Friday, March 30, 2007, 10:00 a.m., at Wood Family Funeral Service, Inc. for Tehachapi resident Martin Ajemian, 82, who passed away March 27, 2007. Martin was born May 18, 1924 in Manhattan, New York to parents John and Rose Ajemian. Both had migrated from Armenia, through Ellis Island, to the United States. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps in WWII. Martin was a Manufacturing Engineer with North American Aviation (now Boeing) for approximately 50 years. He loved his job and with the same precision he exemplified at work, he pursued his hobbies. He was the "handiest" of handymen and an artist in wood working. He married Shirley Lane on January 14, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They have resided in Tehachapi since 1989, where together, the two of them built their own home. Martin is survived by his wife, Shirley; son, Bruce Martin Ajemian of Canoga Park; step-daughters, Betty Cameron of Simi Valley and Barbara Tuggle of San Francisco; step-sons, Marty Lane of Simi Valley, Brent Lane of Canyon Country, and Dean Lane of Chatsworth; granddaughter, Kristynn Cloonan of Canyon Country; and grandson, Bobby Lane of Chatsworth. Visitation and Graveside Interment will be held Monday, April 2, 2007, 10:00 a.m., at Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatswor th, California. Officiating the services, Marty Lane and Pastor Rob Denton.
