Stanton--Services for Roy Carle, 77, Stanton, will be at 10:30 am Wednesday at the New England Congregational Church. the Rev. J. Arden Wild will officiate with graveside rites by the Stanton County VFW at the Stanton Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-8 pm Tuesday at Schultz-Vogel Mortuary.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. David Carle was born Jan. 1, 1906, at Danbury, IA and died Sunday at the Stanton Nursing Home.
He was married May 31, 1930 to Bertha Patterson at Madison. Mr. Carle was a retired custodian for the Stanton City Schools and a member of Stanton County VFW Post 3602.
Survivors include his wife and two sisters, Mrs. David )Leona) Moll of Sterling, CO, and Mrs. Milo (Rose) Clough of Boulder, CO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
