Patrick was the beloved eldest son of Frank and Anna (Sullivan) Fitzgerald. He was a cherished brother to Geraldine, Iona, Mary, Cecelia, Rose, Michael, Francis (Rusty), Dennis and Lucy.
Patrick was a WWII Army Veteran. Pat married Patricia A. Walsh on November 27, 1948. Pat and Patricia had four children who treasure his memory, as does their Mother: Karen Marie (8/11/49), Thomas Patrick (11/9/50), Kathleen Lynn (6/13/63) and John Kevin, called Jack (8/10/66).
Pat is also missed by a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Karen married Thomas Skalak and they have a daughter, Stacey. Thomas married Wendy (Johnson) and they had sons Scott and James (Jimmy). Kathleen married Dan Ryczek and they have Casey, Erin and Shane. John (Jack) married Michelle Creagan and they had Brittany, Patrick and Cassidy. Jack is now married to Tina Turk.
Great-grandchildren include the children of Stacey Skalak Jones and her husband, Gary Jones: Dillon, Desiree and Evan. Scott Fitzgerald and Joanne (Murray) Fitzgerald (his wife), have children Makenna and Colin Fitzgerald. James is married to Kim (Mooneyhan) Fitzgerald and their children are Gavin and Braxton.
Pat is also loved and missed by all his siblings and their spouses, cousins, and nieces and nephews.
