Wilda Audrey Lasdan Cure, of Irving, Texas, formerly of Mena, Arkansas, died December 12, 2006, in Irving at the age of 80.
She was born November 3, 1926 in San Francisco, California, to Rhoda Dearman and (first name unknown) Lasdan. She was united in marriage to Darrel Treat Cure on February 13, 1946, and was the mother of two sons: Richard Darrell and Steven Dale, and one daughter: Deborah Susan. She was of the Baptist faith, and a frequent volunteer in the kitchen at the church. She gardened with her husband and was adept at the art of canning. She was also an Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter: Kimberly Ann Cure Zay Zay.
She is survived by her husband, Darrel, of the home. Two sons: Richard Darrell of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Steven Dale of North Bend, Washington. One daughter: Deborah Susan Reynolds of Irving, Texas. One sister: Barbara Alyce Chapman of Hanford, California; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Internment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Mena,Polk County, Arkansas.
