Her parents and most of her siblings are buried in St. Dymphna's Cemetery in Dromore, Omagh, Tyrone, Northern Ireland [marker erected by her sister, Margaret (McCanny/McKenna) Donnelly]. In Tyrone, they were neighbors of the Owen Hughes' family [her future husband's family] - Annie came to America where she and James Hughes were married in a Roman Catholic Ceremony in 1894 in St. Catherine of Genoa, RCC in New York City. In 1935, after James Hughes made his fortune, he purchased a larger family plot in Calvary Cemetery which could accommodate 45 burials and had Anna/Annie, Annie and John moved. Also buried in the new Hughes Plot are: Anna 'Annie' (McCanny/McKenna - James Hughes' 1st wife), Annie Hughes, James P.
