Earle J. Howe Obituary from the collection of Ellen Howe Fratzke
Earle J. Howe, son of Milton and Maude Howe, was born July 22, 1920 at Glencoe, Minn. About age 22, he moved to Mora, Minn, and to Minneapolis, Minn in 1943. In Glencoe, Minn, October 1, 1944, he was united in marriage to Violet Classen. They moved to the Princeton area in 1959. Earle was a foreman at the Smith System Mfg. Co. at Princeton, Minn. He passed away October 26, 1972 at the age of 52 years.
Earle was survived by his wife, Violet of Princeton; three daughters, Mrs. (Nancy) David Weissenfluh, Mrs. (Linda) Terry Daniels and Mrs. (Kathy) Carl Sanford of Princeton; four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. LeRoy (Blanche) Paulson of Zimmerman, and his parents Mr. and Mrs. Milton Howe of Zimmerman.
A family service was 8 p.m. Sunday at the Kaun Funeral Home and funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, October 30, 1972 at the Princeton Congregational Church. The clergymen were Rev, Olson and Rev, Fisher. The duet, Mr. Ronald Almen and Mrs. Allen Bornholdt, was accompanied by Mrs. Warren Lindell. The Pallbearers were Jack Hammons, Harold Stene, Leonard Koekette, John Bramer, Verlin Gustafson and Alvin F. Johnson. Honorary pallbearers were Harold Monroe and Lester Frank. Interment was in Baldwin Cemetery.
