Headstone shows info as CSA, 51st Tennessee Regiment, however, this man is the same as Capt. James H. Willis who served in the 51st Virginia Militia. See Memorial# 75272472 for memorial of Capt. James H. Willis.

(special thanks to Dennis Brooke for the following info) Captain James H. Willis was with Company C of the 51st Virginia Militia. However, when you pull J.H. Mills CMSR is says see cards for James H. Willis. The people in Nelson, Georgia making the stones in 1908 had no idea and were just making the stones with what information they were given. Mills and Willis are the same soldier.
