"Whalen, Nancy Lou (Kellin) WHALEN Nancy Lou (Kellin) Whalen, age 74, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2009, Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born September 1, 1934 in Plain City, Ohio. 1953 graduate of North High School. Attended Northeast Church of Christ and Plain City Presbyterian Church in her early years. An excellent cook who enjoyed making cookies and fudge for everyone in the neighborhood. Preceded in death by parents James L. and Ruth M. (Cheeseman) Kellin. Survived by children, Daniel L. Whalen and Vickie Lee Whalen, Granddaughter Jamie,and great grandchildren Kelly and Cori. Grandchildren Christina, Danielle and Joseph and 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Marie Kellin; and also many, many friends she loved dearly. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St., (St. Rte 161 W), Plain City, where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2009. Burial Forest Grove Cemetery."
