Preston L. Ball, born March 26, 1936, passed away April 17, 2012, the Senior Pastor of the Air Street Church of God for 30 years.

Preceded in death by his parents, Logan Ball and Nannie (Dyer) Ball and sister Evelyn Ball, all of Ages, KY; brothers Marvin Ball of Colorado Springs, CO and Billy Ball of Dayton, Ohio.

Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Doshie (Pitman) Ball, children Keith Ball, Ken Ball and wife Rhonda, Kim Kuns and husband John, Preston David Ball and wife Karen, Karen Schmitt and husband Casey, Kathy Sheppard and husband Michael; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, siblings Virginia Fuson, Marcella Smith, Joe Ball and wife Cheryl, Bobby Ball and Chris Stanish, Barbara Bailey and husband Robert, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and church family.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 23, 2012 at Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. Bishop Ancil Carter, Rev. Larry Thomas and Bishop David Renfro officiating. Interment was at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
