Son of Robert Murchison and Catherine Roxanna Secrest Moore. Married Lessie Lee Thompson in Union County NC 11/26/1911. He was a farmer. He had a sudden heart attack and died at home in Indian Trail and was pronounced dead on arrival at what was then Union Memorial Hospital, Monroe, N. C.
The site of his and Lessie Moore's farm is now Brandon Oaks Subdivision off Old Monroe Rd. in Indian Trail, NC.
