Mrs. Fernandez was a homemaker.
Her husband Manuel died in 1969.
She is survived by a daughter, Georgina Mendez of Wilmington; a granddaughter, two grandsons, and four great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30am Wednesday in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Ninth and DuPont streets.
There will be no viewing.
Burial will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Lancaster Avenue.
