Graveside services for Carlton H. Arrington, age 93, of Jacksonville, will be held at 2 P.M., Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at Jarratt Cemetery with Pastors Wade Holman and David Smith officiating.

Carlton was born Nov. 19, 1920 in Jacksonville to William Frazier and Mattie Evans Arrington. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII and was a member of the Craft Baptist Church. He died at a local nursing home on Feb. 10, 2014 in Jacksonville. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Leona Arrington, daughter, Dana Kay Youngblood, and seven brothers and sisters. He is survived by two sons, a daughter, a brother, eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Pall bearers will be eight in number. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
