Sudden Death – The Times learns that Math Arenz who resides in the town of Brothertown, one mile north of Jericho, died suddenly on Monday morning from a stroke of paralysis. Sunday afternoon Mr. Arenz, who was at Jericho complained that he did not feel well and left for his home and went to bed. In the morning he informed his wife that he felt some better and a short time afterwards when she visited the bedroom she found him dead.
The deceased was born in Fond du Lac County, Feb. 22, 1859. And some twenty-five years ago located in the town of Brothertown. He was an industrious farmer and by his thrift succeeded in making a fine home for himself and family.
The funeral took place from Holy Trinity church at Jericho Friday morning.
