William "Herbert" Goodman, known as Herb by his friends, was born in Shenandoah Heights, PA. devoted husband of Jennie Schultz Goodman, son of William "Henry" and Anna Kehler-Bentz Goodman, brother of George Leard, Maud Esther and Emma Rae. Served as A.S.Seaman USNR 1918-1921 in WW1. Resided in Shenandoah, Ashland, Conynham, Mahanoy City and Mt. Carmel among other areas. Herb was described as having a gentle nature, brown hair and grey eyes and was a well-known salesman by trade. He had a daughter, Lynn married to Charles Coleman and two granddaughters, Barbara and Diane. His death was due to Coronary Occlusion at his home in Frackville.
