Actress. Born Lori von Eltz in Hollywood, Lori was the daughter of actor Theodore von Eltz and screenwriter Peggy Prior. Later, she became the adopted daughter of the poet, essayist, author, and screenwriter Joseph Moncure March. She attended Beverly Hills High School. She studied drama in Greenwich Village and began working on the stage in the 1940s. She married the voice actor Alexander Scourby, best known for his famous reading of "The Bible." She and her husband portrayed husband and wife on the daytime soap, "The Secret Storm" (1954). Their daughter, Alexandra, was born on March 27, 1944. Having a long list of TV credits, Lori March is best known for her performance in THE TWILIGHT ZONE episode "Third From the Sun." She died peacefully in her sleep on March 19, 2013 at the age of 90.
