Robert Otto "BOB" Rohwer was a kind and gentle soul. He had a strong sense of family and spent many long hours and days with his beloved sisters and cousins as children playing "school." Those same sisters and cousins all became professional educators and still remember how patient Bob was as a child, since he most often was relegated to the role of "student."
Bob also had a sense of the practical, with humor as well as wisdom emanating from his experience in life. As a little boy, he once was sleeping over at his cousin's house for the evening. Before bedtime after emerging from the bathroom, his aunt asked him if he had brought his tooth brush with him. He matter-of-factly responded, "No, that's ok . . . I just used Sally's!"
Bob was a well-educated, artistically and musically talented man who also spoke with great eloquence. At age 39, we lost this dear man too soon. He was greatly loved and is in our hearts for eternity.
