Harold Junior Brewer, 68, Rogersville, passed away Tuesday morning at his home. Harold was born on Nov. 16, 1932 in Calloway, Mo., to Walter Monroe Brewer and Myrtle Whitehead Brewer. He was married to Shirley Marie Batterson on Nov. 14, 1953. Harold was a maintenance man for Ash Grove Lime in Springfield, retiring in 1981. Since retiring, he loved to watch his walker dogs work. Harold was a member of the Center Point Church of Christ, baptized in 1973. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Larence, Willard, Jake and Kenneth Brewer, one sister, Margie Faught; and a granddaughter, Lacy Mae Kuenz. Surviving is his wife Shirley of the home; three sons Harold Kent Brewer; and wife Debbie of Brighton, Mo, Gregory Ryan Brewer of Greenwood, Miss., and Tony Alan Brewer and wife Debbie of Rogersville; one daughter, Janet Kuenz and husband Steve of Springfield; one brother, Burl "Dutch" Brewer of Rogersville; five sisters, Mildred Harding of Nixa, Margaret Fields of Galloway, Marcella Jaco of Belton, Mo., Annabelle Klier of Nixa and Mary Meyers of Rogersville; ten grandchildren, Darren, Mike, Matt and Zach Brewer, Milissa, Caleb and Shelby Brewer, Steve Kuenz and Casey and Josh Brewer; two great-grandchildren, Nikki Swofford and Tommy Brewer; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2001, in the Preston-Marsh Funeral Home, Rogersville, with burial in the Holland Cemetery.
