According to Margaret's death certificate she was placed in the Oneonta Plain's Vault on 17 Mar 1940. In Aug 2012 when searching the vault to get a photo it was learned that Margaret was no longer in the vault but there was no note in the records to indicate where she was placed. This according to Sandy Goodspeed, Historian and keeper of the records in Aug 2012. Sandy said that it was common for bodies to be placed in the vault in the winter months and then buried after the spring thaw. In speaking with Betty Huften King, Margaret's only living grandchild in 2012, Betty, age 85, said that she went to the interment at the Highlands Cemetery in PA and she described the headstone as oblique. The one side of the oblique Headstone found in the Highland cemetery reads Children of GI & M Chamberlain. The other 3 sides were not legible. Based on Betty's conversation and info in Margaret's Obituary Margaret was indeed moved to and buried in the Highlands Cemetery with her husband George and the children buried there at the time.
