Mrs. Jeanette Dix, age 77 of Griffin, Georgia, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Dix was born on December 17, 1932 in Brooks, Georgia to the late Arthur Cobb and the late Irene Pulliam Cobb. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gennie Darlene Dix and was a member of the Rock Spring Church.
Survivors include husband, Andy Dix, Jr.; children and their spouses, Richard and Janet Dix, Janice and Fred Gibson, Mark and Wanda Dix; grandchildren, Mike Dix, Jennifer Gibson Stephenson and her husband Chris, Robert Dix and his wife Jessica, Christi Farron and her husband Dustin, Krissy Hancock; great grandchild, Tori Dix; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Reverend William and Gwen Dix; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara Jean and David Pickard; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral service for Jeanette Dix will be conducted on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the new section of Oak Hill Cemetery. Reverend Ryan Christopher will officiate.
