Hazel M. Aggen, 84, Wittenberg, died on Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, at Ministry St. Clare’s Hospital, Weston.

She was born on Aug. 17, 1931, in the town of Morris, Shawano County, the daughter of the late Peter and Alice (Eggleston) Erickson. On Nov. 6, 1948, Hazel was united in marriage to Donald Aggen in Birnamwood. He survives.

The couple farmed in the town of Morris for many years. Hazel worked as a store clerk for Gwidt Pharmacy, Wittenberg, for many years until her retirement. She was a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, town of Morris, where she sang in the church choir. She was currently a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Wittenberg.

Hazel enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling and polkas. She also enjoyed golfing and once had a hole in one at Maple Hills Golf Course, Wittenberg.

In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Davison.
