Birth: unknown
Death: Sep. 30, 1905

Albany Vindicator, Oct. 5, 1905
Ann Eliza Bennett was born in Ulster County, New York on Jan. 29, 1815 and died Sept. 30. Her early life was spent in the east where she married Ansel Edwards on Dec. 26, 1837 in Wayne County, New York. She and her husband came to Wisconsin in 1853 where he died fifty years ago. She again married Franklin Bennett Jan. 3, 1859. He
was called to his eternal home six weeks ago. The deceased was an active worker in the Methodist Church for over half a century having united with that body in 1848 and transferred her membership to Albany in 1882. She was known as a faithful worker and a loyal friend to the church of her choice. The funeral service was held at the Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Peter Black who preached from Psalms 35:14 "He was bowed down heavily as one that mourneth for his mother". The interment was made beside her first husband in the Truax Cemetery west of Albany.
