Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of Otis Nelson Lynch and the late Grace Winnie Lyda Lynch. She was a homemaker and attended Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are her father of Simpsonville; her children, Rhonda (Ted) Shehan and Denise Bagwell, all of Pickens; Chuck (Dene) Carlisle of Simpsonville; and Keith Carlisle of Texas; her brothers and sister, Bill Lynch; Virginia Smith; George Lynch and Joe Lynch; 8 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allen Hiott; her daughter, Tonya Michelle Hiott; 2 brothers and 1 sister.
