HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Elsie K. Brown, 69, of Danville will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Andrews Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. John Gallion officiating.

Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brown died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Nov. 25, 1930, in Lawrence County to Oscar and Lula Haynes Smith. She was a homemaker and member of Andrews Chapel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Buel Brown; four brothers, William Smith and Edward C. Smith, both of Danville, John Paul Smith of Cullman and Roy T. Smith of Vermillion, Ohio; and two sisters, Louise Smith of Danville and Irene Cutchens of Falkville.

Nephews will be pallbearers.
