The German "Knab" pronunication and spelling in America can vary. In German, the "K" is pronounced, so in German Knab is pronunced "Ka Nob". In America, since the K is silent, Knab can be pronounced "Nab" or "Nob". Harold and Edward use the Nob pronuncation and spell their last name, Knob to match. Others use the Knab spelling and use the Nab pronuncation.
