Raeleigh Ann Whitaker, daughter of Timothy Craig and Aubin Whitaker, died at birth on Friday, February 3, 2006, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her maternal grandparents Sandra Eaton and Gary LaFleur; her maternal great grandparents Lucette & Bernard LaFleur and Matilda Cierpial, her aunt Alyssa Boudreau and uncle James LaFleur, all of Chicopee, MA; her paternal grandparents Janet and Timmy Whitaker; her paternal great grandparents Anna Lee & O'Neal Winkler and Rosella Whitaker, her aunts Tiffany Whitaker and Marcie Lynn Winkler, all of Richmond, KY. Along with other family members and friends of the family, Elizabeth Laurila, of Georgetown, KY; Kay & Alisa Roller, of Junction City, KY; and Wanda Brooks, of Lancaster, KY; just to name a few.
Funeral was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2006, at the Combs, Parsons and Collins Funeral Home, Richmond, KY. Brother Guiley officiated the service. Music was played during services, Chris Waddle sang "The Dance" by Garth Brooks, and "Fly On" by George Molton. Recession song was played, "One Sweet Day", by Mariah Carey & Boys II Men. Pallbearers were David Winkler and Jason Rawlins, both of Richmond, KY.
