loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and father to all those in need, passed away April 6, 2016 in West Valley, Utah. He was born February 5, 1955 in Reno, Nevada to David Phillip and Zola Lavon Briggs Beebe.
He married Karren Lea Miller on January 31, 1974 in Salt lake City, Utah. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1973 and proudly served 20 years retiring in 1993. While globetrotting around the world he impacted so many lives in a positive way. He was a wonderful husband who was unselfish beyond belief. He was a father figure to many friends and family members who were in need of a "DAD." He made sure that throughout his family's lives they always had what they needed to be successful. Roger was a wonderful example of giving and a "True Hero" to his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Karren, his children Brian (Karen) Beebe, Stephanie (Brian) Thatcher, and Jennifer (Dayne) Lester; 10 grandchildren, Baileigh, Karsten, Brody, Kooper, Breegan, Brayden, Bransen, Brecken, BryLynn, and Kastin; his siblings Don (Charlotte), Robert (Kayleen), Bonnie Beebe, Alene Shepherd, Steve (Jackie), and sister-in-law Carollyn Beebe; also survived by Karren's siblings Neil (Kimmie) Miller, Kathy Eggertz, Larry (Marinda) Miller, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents David and Zola Beebe, Karren's parents Acel and Thelma Miller, his brother David Beebe, sister-in-law Louise Miller, and brother-in-law, Scott Eggertz.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Utah Veterans Memorial Park Chapel, 17111 South Redwood Road, Bluffdale, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6-8:00 pm on Wednesday at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah and one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Interment to follow at Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
