Carl Aas, 89, Crookston, died Saturday, April 22, 1995, in Riverview Hospital, Crookston.
Carl A. Aas was born June 7, 1905, near Climax, Minn., the son of August and Anna (Thoreson) Aas. He attended rural school, worked on the family farm, farmed with his brother, and worked for Jens Erickson from 1947 to 1952. He moved to Crookston, worked for his nephew, Everett Solheim, for 23 years, retired in 1975 and moved to Villa St. Vincent Nursing Home, Crookston, in 1985.
He is survived by a sister, Marie Woodhouse, Minneapolis; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Marcus and Herman; and sisters, Johanna Olson, Olga Solheim and Alvhild Petersom.
Services:10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Sand Hill Lutheran Church, Climax.
