Born in Saluda County, SC, daughter of the late James Derrick and Mable Able Nichols. She was a member of Pineview Baptist Church and a graduate of Winthrop College. She was a teacher and worked and retired from SCDOT.
Surviving are her husband, Gerald Miller; sons, Nick and Steve Miller, both of West Columbia, SC, and Tony Miller of Leesville, SC; one grandchild; and two step-grandchildren.
