Anna E (Plichta) Petruska, Age 85, of Uniontown, Pa. died on Friday, May 20.2005, in the Uniontown Hospital.
She was born on October 28,1919, in Continental One, Uniontown, Pa., daughter of Max Francis Plichta and Anna (Kurtik) Plichta.
Anna was a member of St, John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Uniontown.
Her parents, daughters Emily Ann Petruska and Judith Ann Petruska, a grandaughter, Lori Ann Wiles, a sister , Irene Plichta Basta, and brothers, Max Plichta and Irvin Plichta, preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband,John Petruska; five children; Joan Stefancin and her husband Robert, and Maxine Wiles and her husband, Harold all of Uniontown,Pa., Patricia Benson of Shinnston, West Virginia, Anna Marie Grove and John M Petruska both of Uniontown, Pa; 10 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, a sister, Mary Elizabeth Plichta of Uniontown, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Home on North Gallatin Ave in Uniontown, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday May 24, Until 10:30 a.m. when the Panachida Service will be held.
Divine Liturgy will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Johns church with Rev Father Thomas J Wesdock as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. John Byzantine Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.
Parastas will be conducted in the funeral home this evening at 7:30 p.m.
