Terry Lee DeLauder was born on August 19, 1951, to Richard Allen DeLauder of Middletown, Md., and June S. DeLauder of Washington, D.C.

Living most of his life in metropolitan Atlanta, Terry most recently lived in Canton, Ga. He enjoyed a successful career in information technology and project management, having worked with companies such as AT&T and Coca-Cola. He graduated from Wheeler High School and Dekalb Community College.

Terry's family included his son, Devin DeLauder, of McDonald, Tenn.; his brothers, Richard A. DeLauder, Jr., of Snellville, Ga., John P. DeLauder of Alto, Ga., and Robert C. DeLauder of Fayetteville, Ga.; and his sister, Linda D. Bruce, of Woodstock, Ga. His father died in 1994; his mother died in 2003.

On Thursday, September 8, 2011, Terry unexpectedly passed away. Family and friends gathered for his funeral on Monday, September 12, in Canton. His body was cremated after the funeral.

Terry was compassionate and spirited. He was an avid whitewater rafter and a sports car enthusiast. He lived his life to the fullest. He is missed by the many people whose lives he touched.
