Effie May [sic] Banks, 72, Overland Park, KS, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Villa St. Joseph. Effie was born January 18, 1933, in Madison Co., AL, to John Alvin and Virginia (Oneal) McIntare. She was a longtime member of Stilwell United Methodist Church, and the Mustang Square Dancers. She was an avid gardener, neighbor, and friend to many, and was the devoted wife of Eugene Banks, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, 2 grandchildren, and her 12 siblings. Effie loved life, people, and the Lord. She was a very loving wife and devoted to the care of her family. She had a heart of gold and was always first in line to help anyone!
