Mrs. Henry DePons died Tuesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Stanley Pierce. She had been in poor health the past two months but a fatal termination of her illness was not looked for. She was a native of Manitowoc county and was 55 years of age. She was esteemed and respected by a large circle of friends.
She is survived by her husband and five children, H. DePons, Mrs. F. Pierce, Mrs. Charles Windus, Mrs. Stanley Pierce and Erwin DePons all residents of this city. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. J. Barthels of Menomonee.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from St. James church.

Minnie was well known and held in high esteem by a large circle of friends.(excerpt from obituary Manitowoc Daily Herald, April 31, 1912) She regularly attended card club.
