William C. "Bill" Bennett, 78, of Big Spring died Tuesday, Nov. 21, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center. Services were Friday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Chaplain Daniel Shadix of the Veterans Administration Medical Center officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
He was born Jan. 22, 1928, at Kansas City, Kan., to Anna Marie and William Thomas Bennett. He married Ingeborg Grade on Jan. 24, 1952, in Germany. She preceded him in death Jan. 11, 2004. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.
He is survived by two daughters, Trish Gabbard of Sand Springs and Joyce Maya of Stafford, Va.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
