HAROLD LLOYD BEANE
FAIRHOPE—Harold Lloyd Beane, 74, who served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and the Korean Conflict, died Monday at his home in Fairhope.
A native of Sylacauga, Ala., he was a member of the Barnwell Baptist Church, past master of the Ensley Lodge No. 278 in Pensacola, member of the Abba Temple Shrine, Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Beane of Fairhope; five daughters, Patricia Bryan, Nancy Moore and Vickie Lynn Peavy, all of Pensacola, Janice Hersman of Montgomery and Judy Benton of Fairhope; two sons, Harold Lloyd Beane Jr. of Pensacola and Larry Hipsh of Fish River, a brother, Billie Joe Beane of Semmes, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Barnwell Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Barnwell Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Fairhope.
The family asks that donations be made in memory of Beane to the Barnwell Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 918, Point Clear, 36564.
Arrangements are by Bayview Funeral Home of Fairhope.
