Randall LaFollette Johnson died Sunday, July 15, 2001, in Murray, UT.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 20 at 12 noon at the Rosedale Ward building, 1100 West 500 North in Salt Lake City. Viewings for family and friends will be held at the Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East in Murray, Thursday evening July 19th from 7-9 p.m. and at the Rosedale Ward building at 10:30 a.m. preceding the funeral services. Interment will follow at the Taylorsville City Cemetery.

Born March 16, 1918 to Daniel and Della LaFollette Johnson in Burlington, Wyoming. Served in the Navy throughout World War II.

Married Anna Pauline Olson on February 16, 1946 in Lovell, Wyoming, sealed February 20, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Attended Utah State Agricultural College, graduated in 1950. Worked for the U.S. Farmers Home Administration. Moved to Salt Lake City in 1994.

A life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served in many ward and stake callings, served as a temple ordinance worker in the Boise Temple, and sent four sons and a daughter on missions.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a sister, and a grandson.

He is survived by his wife Anna; his sister Margie Pulsipher of St. George, Utah; a brother, Harold of St. George; and his children, Rodney (Mary), Coeur d'Alene, ID; Greta (Gerald) Fogle, Taylorsville, UT; Loretta (Chuck) Rogers, Fargo, ND; Darl (Mary), Orem, UT; and Delma Bountiful, UT; Paul (Connie), Boise, ID; Mary Ann (Kent) Pickering, Eagle Mountain, UT; and David (Mary), West Valley City, UT; 33 grand-children, and 10 great-grandchildren.

A great oak in our forest has fallen. He is greatly missed.
