THREE ARE CLAIMED BY DEATH
Alex. Bossuet, A.E. William, and Mrs. M.W. Wollam Called Home
Mrs. Ida Wood Wollam passed away at her home at 6 o'clock last Tuesday morning. Her death followed an extended illness with cancer of the stomach. Several months ago she submitted to an operation at Rochester, and later she was cared for at the Home Sanitarium in this city. These efforts to restore her to health were futile, however, and last Tuesday morning death ended her sufferings.
Mrs. Wollam was born in Germany, but was brought to this country when twelve years old, and for some time resided in Milwaukee. At an early age she became interested in the work of the Salvation Army, and in 1890 she came to St. Peter as an officer in that organization. She was married here to Thomas Wollam and three children were born to them. They survive, as do one brother and one sister.
The funeral was held from her late home at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Wm. C. Lee had charge of the service and the interment was made in Green Hill Cemetery.
