Wilma Alene Cox, 88, passed away at the Lake Ozark Retirement Center in Osage Beach, Mo., Friday, Aug.17, 2007. Wilma was born Oct. 19, 1918, in Ray County, Mo. She was the daughter of Dan W. Oster and Ida G. (Cramer) Oster.

She was a resident in the Lake Ozark retirement Center the last seven and one-half years. Before residing there, she lived on a farm near Richmond, Mo., for 33 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband 'Jack' Cox; her son, Gary Owen; her first husband 'Jack' C. Owen; her six brothers; and two sisters.

On Dec. 14, 1935, she was united in marriage to Jack Owen and to this union a son and daughter was born.

On Nov. 22, 1967, she married Jack Cox. She was a member of the New Hope Methodist Church near Braymer, Mo., and belonged to Georgeville Extension Club.

Survivors are a daughter, Betty King and her husband, Dr. B.C. King, of Camdenton, Mo.; stepson, Jackie Cox and his wife, Marlene, of Richmond; grandson, Tony Eichler and his wife, Linda, of Chillicothe, Mo.; grandson, Rodney Owen of Lee Summit, Mo.; grandson Todd Eichler and wife, Tracy, of Camdenton; grandson, Brian Owen and his wife, Debbie, of Blue Springs, Mo.; one greatgranddaughter; six great-grandsons; and two step grandsons.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. We celebrate her life and cherish the memories she created for her family and friends.

Services will be held at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home of Camdenton at 10 a.m., Monday Aug. 20. Burial will be 3 p.m. in Black Oak Cemetery, Braymer, Mo., Monday, August 20, by Pitts Funeral Home of Braymer.
